House Rules

A few simple rules to help you enjoy the apartment and leave it the way we'd all like to find it: clean, sustainable, and in harmony with the next guest.

Dear Guest, in managing our apartments we aim for the greatest sustainability possible.

That's why we ask you to follow the recycling guidelines, and for the same reason we ask you to turn off the air conditioning whenever you're out of the apartment and, while it's running, to keep the windows closed.

Thank you for your cooperation — the environment is yours just as much as ours.

General Rules

No smoking inside the apartments.

The washing machine is for towels, clothes, and bed linen only — no shoes or other non-fabric items.

Bicycles should not be brought into the apartment: please leave them in the ground-floor entryway.

Climate & Windows

Turn off the air conditioning every time you leave the apartment, even for a short while.

While the air conditioning is running, keep the windows closed: it helps the system work better and uses less energy.

One small habit, a big difference

In summer, the air conditioning is the apartment's biggest energy draw. Turning it off when you go out and keeping the windows closed while it's on saves energy and keeps the apartment cool for longer.

Recycling Guide

Paper

No laminated/plastic-coated paper and no thermal-paper receipts (these go in general waste). Clean napkins are fine here; if soiled, they go in food waste. Flatten cardboard boxes to reduce their volume.

Glass

Remove the caps from bottles, then place the glass directly in the bin outside the building, at the bottom of the stairs.

Plastic

All plastic items. Note: compostable (Mater-Bi) bags do not belong here.

Metal

Bottle caps and aluminum packaging are collected together with plastic.

Food Waste

Collect it in biodegradable bags. You can wrap it in kitchen paper to absorb liquids.
